College: The Best Years
I was at work, and one of the counselors talked to me about how her and her girlfriends come together and reminisce about the college years—she’s about 40 years old now probably. After telling me that these were the BEST and GREATEST years of her life, I started to ask myself: so what happens after college?! It made me think about how the life I am living now is not going to be same once I am out of here. Because I am young and still in college, I need to stop thinking so much about just working, wearing myself out, and forgetting the fun things in life like hanging out with friends on a Thursday night! I mean I still have a lot of the time, but I want to look back 10 yrs from now and say: “WOW! Remember that time when…(insert something stupid I did and learned something after)” kind of thing. One more year to go, and I am not wasting it!
